Returns & Order Issues
Can paint be returned?
Because paint is often tinted or made to specification, custom colours cannot usually be returned.
Returns may be accepted for unopened standard products within a specified period, subject to our Returns Policy.
What if I received the wrong product or damaged goods?
Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos and order details. We’ll work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

How do I choose the right colour online?
Colour can appear differently depending on lighting, screens and surrounding finishes. We recommend ordering a sample pot before purchasing larger quantities, or booking a colour consultation for guidance.
Can I order sample pots?
Yes. Sample pots are available for selected colours to help you experience the colour in your own space before committing to larger volumes.
Why does the colour look different from what I saw online?
Screen settings, lighting and wall textures influence how colour is perceived. Natural daylight, warm LEDs and room orientation may affect appearance.
We encourage testing colours in your own environment first.
Can I get help choosing colours?
Yes. We offer colour support and consultations to help you select colours aligned with your space, lighting and preferences.
Can I create my own colour?
Yes.
Through selected creator-led and custom colour experiences, SPLASHED allows customers to develop personalised colours that reflect individual stories, spaces and identity.

Product Information & Application
How much paint do I need?
Coverage varies depending on the surface condition and product type. As a general guide:
5L: approximately 30–40m² (2 coats)
20L: approximately 120–160m² (2 coats)

How many coats of paint do I need?
Most applications require two coats for optimal finish and durability.
Porous or previously unpainted surfaces may require primer and additional coats.
Do I need primer?
Primer improves adhesion, durability and finish quality.
For plaster, rhinolite and gypsum boards, we recommend:
SPLASHED PRIME ALL — deep penetrating water-based primer.
Is SPLASHED paint suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes. Our Hygienic range is designed for moisture-prone environments and offers protection against mould and microbial growth.
Are your paints environmentally friendly?
Many SPLASHED products are water-based, resulting in lower odour and easier clean-up compared to traditional solvent-based alternatives.
How do I clean painted walls?
Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners
Which paint finish should I choose?
Matt: Soft, low-sheen appearance
Low Sheen: Durable with subtle reflectivity
Silk/Satin: Slight shine and easier cleaning
Gloss: High durability and reflective finish
